Yes — free on-site parking is available at the studio. We kindly ask that you do not block neighbouring driveways when you arrive. If you have any questions about parking before your visit, please don’t hesitate to call us.

From the M1 Southbound, exit at Junction 11, turn right under the motorway and follow the A505 towards Dunstable, passing Luton and Dunstable Hospital. At the roundabout opposite the Halfway House Beefeater, turn right onto Poynters Road. Take the next right onto Emerald Road beside the church with the white spire. We are on the right, opposite the playing fields of Chalk Hills Academy.

From Houghton Regis, take Poynters Road and turn left onto Emerald Road beside the church with the white spire. We are on the right, opposite the playing fields of Chalk Hills Academy.

From Leagrave High Street, turn into Emerald Road between St Hugh’s Church and Chalk Hills Academy. Just past the first turning — Jillifer Road — we are on the left, the first house, opposite the playing fields.

Oakley Studios specialises in family portraits, children’s portraits, newborn photography, couples and solo portraits, headshots and professional business portraits, maternity photography, prom photoshoots, and our magical themed experiences — the Original Fairy Experience and our Mermaid and Unicorn fantasy photoshoots. We have been serving families across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire since 1990.

We require a £35 refundable deposit to secure your appointment, which is redeemable against your portrait collection on the day. Oakley Studios was founded in 1990, thats over 35 years ago.

David and Sue Doyle, run the studio together. In that time we have photographed more than 5,000 families and 15,000 children across Bedfordshire and beyond, raising over £40,000 for local charities including Keech Hospice Care and Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Charity.
