David and Sue Doyle are proud members of the Master Photographer's Association (MPA) and have been awarded the exclusive health and safety "Newborn Certification". This prestigious accreditation is only awarded to photographers who adhere to an extra layer of safety measures specifically designed for photographing newborns.
As the only photographers in Luton and Dunstable to hold this certification, you can trust that David and Sue have taken every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your precious little one during their newborn photography session.
Newborn baby photography is incredibly popular, but it can also be risky if proper procedures and safety measures are not in place.
The MPA introduced the Newborn Certification scheme to protect the public from rogue photographers who operate without insurance or health and safety measures.
The Certification process includes a thorough analysis of health and safety information, covering areas such as maintaining a suitable temperature for the newborn, sanitising props and equipment, and identifying signs of distress in the baby.
As the premier qualifying body for professional photographers in the UK, the MPA aims to provide a level of reassurance to parents who are looking for a professional photographer to capture images of their new baby.

WHO WE ARE
Let’s introduce ourselves, we are David and Sue Doyle, owners of Oakley Studios Luton established in 1990. We specialise in family photoshoots. We are super proud of our reputation of providing a first class family portrait photography service.
We offer all styles of lifestyle photoshoots from maternity to those extra special multi generation photos.
Our aim is to always provide a truly professional service to our clients. It's so special and humbling for us that many clients return year on year with their growing family, the best recommendation we could ever hope to receive. We know their family photos become treasured and historical heirlooms.
WE LOVE OUR WORK !
Over the last 30 years, we have taken a lot of photos!
It has been amazing for us to have been included in our clients lives - shooting their weddings, their growing families, their children growing up. Some of our very first tiny babies are now coming back to us with their babies - mindblowing - just like to say we started out when we were very very young!!!!
Along with all the family and occasion photoshoots we offer magical fairy theme shoots and fun filled Christmas shoots.
We have a fabulous garden studio based at our home. Being out of town gives us a tranquil studio environment which puts everyone at ease ready for relaxing family photoshoot. Easy to locate with free parking to boot. What's not to like?
INDOOR & OUTDOOR STUDIOS
We have a modern purpose built garden studio allowing us the freedom to offer different backgrounds to suit both casual and formal photoshoots.
Outdoors ? We love using our special “outdoor studio”, and have developed several places in our garden for this. Children in particular love the freedom outdoors love being able to let off steam. Our new children's hedgehog seats are a definite hit.
Summer is the best time for outdoors shoot so if baby arrives in the summer - and the British weather is on our side - then maybe just maybe !!!
IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU
It’s good to get to know you before the shoot. The shoots are designed around you and your family .
Let's know if any siblings are going to be involved and if parents are to join in, We know mums don't always feel their best just after baby arrives and life for you all has just done the most amazing somersault, so we are careful in our posing. Use our experience and advice if this is something you want to do when you come for your newborn baby portraits.
