Family Photoshoot - Portrait Photography in Luton

We have 2 main family portrait photography options – Classical Generation Portraits and Informal Family Portraiture.

Our award winning team ensure your family photoshoots will capture your family portrait in the style your want to ensure you have a memory to last a lifetime.

Formal Generation Portrait Photography

We are proud to be known and recommended for our family photoshoots and love creating 2, 3, 4, and 5 generation family portraits which we know are highly treasured by our clients.

These portraits are taken in the formal area of the Studio as this does tend to lend itself to a more formal style of our work which is  more appropriate if the portrait is to include great-grandparents or the less mobile.  The record for our Studio to date is 26 in a family photoshoot with a great mixture of adults and children.

Contact us if you have any further questions or if you need help and advice on dress code.

Informal Family Portrait Photography

Our informal style of family portrait photography works better with a lighter background and we use  a variety of poses and positions, including some floor work.

For these sittings we would suggest smart casual wear.

We are more than happy to give advice on what works well or what is best to avoid. Contact us for full details today.

Why you should book Oakley Studios….

David Doyle of Oakley Studios Luton was awarded an Associate qualification of the Master Photographer Association (AMPA) in 2006. (David first qualiified in 1994 as a licentiate with the MPA).

Associateship of the MPA, is a very difficult qualification to achieve within the photographic profession, as this takes a great deal of time, work and dedication to your art to reach this level. Many photographers entering the Association remain at Licentiate level, so reaching the required high standards of this qualification is a massive achievement.

Not only do you have to submit an extensive panel of photographic images, which are displayed and judged in front of 5 highly respected Fellows of the industry, but you also must produce an in depth working profile, about your work and business practices. This document covers essential elements such as Health & Safety, that must be understood when dealing with the public, and also documents a photographers creative approach and future ambitions.

This is the reason why the public should only book a qualified professional photographer to record those precious memories in life; their wedding, pets or family and children, as it’s the only way they have of knowing they will get the best creative photographs and personal service possible.

Sue Doyle of Oakley Studios was awarded her Licentiateship of the Master Photographer Association (LMPA) in 2008 with a stunning panel of Images of portrait, which is Sue’s speciality.

The judges’ comments given to Sue, included words like sheer quality, impact, stunning, outstanding and unique, which explained the strength of the whole panel.
